Cairo & Nile Cruise 8 Days & 7 Nights

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Today you'll arrive at the Cairo International Airport where our representative will be
waiting to welcome you and drive you by air conditioned vehicle to your hotel in
Cairo. Check-in at the hotel.
Day 2 : Cairo City Tour
In the morning you'll have breakfast, then go by air conditioned vehicle to one of the seven wonders of the ancient world; the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus. Built over 4,000years ago to house the mummified bodies of the Kings, the awe-inspiring Pyramids are a once in a lifetime sight. You'll also get the chance to enjoy a stunning panoramic view of all three pyramids and the Valley Temple facing the great Sphinx. After this you will have lunch at a restaurant overlooking the Pyramids Later you'll go to The Egyptian Museum to see ancient artifacts and other masterpieces from the Land of the Pharaohs.
Day 3: Leave Cairo and Arrive in Luxor
After breakfast you'll check out of your hotel. Your representative will be waiting to transfer you by air conditioned vehicle to the airport where you'll board a domesticflight to Luxor. Upon arrival your representative will transfer you to the nile cruise in time tocheck in and have lunch on board. In the afternoon you'll visit the Temple of Karnak, located in the heart of Egypt, dating back to Egypt's New Kingdom. Karnak is possibly the largest temple complex ever constructed anywhere in the world, and was developed over a period of 1,500 years. The tour continues to The Temple of Luxor, built with the same sandstone used for the construction of monuments in Upper Egypt. You'll return to the cruise at 8:00pm in time for a delicious dinner, and a relaxing evening after such a long day.
Day 4: Tour in Luxor and Sailing to Esna
You'll have breakfast on board before visiting the famous Colossi of Memnon, dedicated to Amenhotep III who built a mortuary temple guarded by two gigantic statues on the outer gates. Time and nature have taken their toll on the temple but the statues are still impressive. After that, you will be transferred to the west bank where you will visit the Valley of Kings, Valley of Queens and the Temple of Hatchepsut, one of Egypt's most successful pharaohs and considered the first great woman in the history. You'll return to the cruise before 1:00pm for lunch as the ship starts sailing to Esna at 2:00pm. At 4:30pm tea will be served on the sundeck, followed bydinner at 8:00pm. During the night the ship will be sailing towards Edfu.
Day 5 : Sailing from Edfu to Kom Ombo
Breakfast will be served on board between 7:30 and 9:00. At 9:00 you will take a horse carriage to the Temple of Edfu, built during the Ptolemaic period and dedicated to the falcon god Horus. Back on board the ship, you'll startsailing to Kom Ombo at
12:00, and lunch will be served at 1:00pm. Don't forget that tea will be served at 4:30pm on the Sun Deck while you enjoy the wonderful view of the Egyptian countryside. You'll arrive in Kom Ombo at 5:00pm where you'll visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, shared by the two Gods, Sobek and Haeroris. Returning to the cruise, you'll sail to Aswan at 7:00pm, and dinner will be served at 20:00. While you're sleeping, the boat will sail to Aswan.
Day 6 : Tour in Aswan
Breakfast will be served on board, and at 8:00am you'll go by air conditioned vehicle to the High Dam stretching across the Nile River in Aswan. You'll also visit the unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae, which was dismantled and relocated to nearby island of Agilika by UNESCO during the construction of the Aswan Dam because the site was partly flooded for half a century by the earlier Aswan low dam. Back on board the ship, lunch will be served at 1:00pm. In the afternoon you will have a Felucca ride around the Elephantine Island, then have dinner at 8:00pm on board the ship.
Day 7 :Back to Cairo
This morning you'll have your final breakfast on board before checking out. You'll take an air conditioned vehicle to the Aswan airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon your arrival, you will be met by your representative and taken to your hotel in Cairo.
Day 8 : departure
After breakfast, you'll check out of your hotel and be transferred to the Cairo International Airport for your flight back home.
